This post is a place holder for more information. Currently around 3pm John Allen with OCSD went to Jose Baez office with 3 other people. Casey Anthony was just leaving, and Cindy Anthony was already there. News outlets in Orlando are reporting that a 24 hour offer of limited immunity has been offered to Casey Anthony, those details are still pretty sketchy. Of note as of 4:45pm John Allen and the others are still at Baez' office and Cindy is still there as well. Other developments are being released. Results from The Body Farm Lab are in and confirm that the air in the trunk smelled of a decomposing body. This post will be updated with more links and information.

A source in law enforcement close to the investigation also exclusively told WESH 2 that time is running out on a deal offered by the state to give Casey Anthony limited immunity for statements she makes, if it would help investigators find Caylee. The State Attorney's office confirms an offer was made on Wednesday afternoon. According to WESH 2's source, that deal will run out at the end of the business day on Thursday afternoon.

The Anthony family (or the grandmother anyway - has anyone seen the grandfather?) is denying the results of whatever tests they have been informed about and we know many of you are shocked, dismayed and angry at this news. We are, too.  However, we go back to a post we made early in the investigation that this is a dysfunctional family in crisis and they've been that way for many years. A lifetime of denial is a hard thing to get past, especially when one wants so desperately to believe that someone they love, even adore, is missing and will be coming home.

Today's events allow the rest of us, who understand that truth and making the right moral choices (choices which aren't always easy) are valued and expected, to consider for a moment a family who've never held their daughter accountable for her behavior, nor themselves culpable in their acceptance of it.  We've only known of the Anthony family since July - and they've known and enabled each other all their lives.  It's going to take some time for a different perspective to sink in, and at the moment, that really is in the form of John Allen and the Orange County Sheriff's Department.  Let law enforcement, and Texas EquuSearch if they're there, do their thing.

Leonard Padilla actually appeared again on Nancy Grace tonight. He repeated that he's made a mistake, he says Casey has not uttered one word about where to find Caylee since she's been out of jail . He says that the bondsman has every right to revoke the bail now that terms of the bond have changed.  Leonard says Tony Padilla, the bail bondsman, is going to make this decision tonight. What we suspect is Leonard, God help him, is doing the right thing in saying this, as it puts added pressure on the Anthony family and on Casey:  the family to make Casey come clean, and Casey because she will fear she will be sent back to jail.

Whether he's a blowhard or not, Leonard Padilla has done the one thing that Caylee's grandparents haven't been able to do:  he admitted on national television he was WRONG.

Well, here we go again...pressure starts, and Casey Anthony appears to have changed her story.

According to Leonard Padilla to local Orlando new stations, Casey has now told her parents that the nanny and a person named Sam took Caylee from her at Jay Blanchard Park.  She claims "Zeniada" gave her a script to follow for 30 days after she took Caylee. 

Why does this feel like a story to cover some evidence, say some clothing and backpacks found in Jay Blanchard Park about a week ago by some Orlando bloggers and news outlet forum members conducting a search there?  Just thinking out loud....

Still in shock from hearing and seeing the news and at the same time not. It was like we've seen it coming but at the same time..wanted to be proven wrong...

Oh Caylee...Words can't even begin the pain and sorrow.

Cindy, praying you do the right thing and talk. Part of us feel sorry and other half...we just don't know what to say.

Cindy Anthony walked out with Baez at 4:45 p.m. without commenting to reporters.

Baez said he would make a public statement at the Anthony's east Orange County home later today.

Investigators left the attorney's office shortly afterward without commenting.

And they better not try the friends or kidnappers routine...I think this has effectively tied lavaball to the scene of the crime.

The limited immunity is ONLY good till tomorrow afternoon and the only reason for it...is to get Caylee's body back.

She's still going to be prosecuted, just what she says won't be used against her.

Preliminary results were back from FBI tests on physical evidence found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. The samples, which included hair that investigators said was scientifically linked to Caylee, a stain and dirt, came back positive for signs of decomposition. Investigators said more test results were expected.

The State Attorney's Office also confirmed on Wednesday that Casey Anthony was invited to their office to shed light on the disappearance of Caylee. The State Attorney's Office is not revealing details about the offer of limited immunity.

Investigators from the sheriff's office and the FBI met with Casey Anthony on Wednesday afternoon at her attorney's office. Cindy Anthony was also there.

Casey only met with investigators for about 10 minutes and said nothing when she departed.

Cindy Anthony left later in the afternoon, followed by the investigators, who were planning to go to the Anthony's home.

This is the sick part:

The Anthonys have disputed the results of the tests, pointing out that Caylee hasn't been found.

Casey Anthony's attorney refused to comment.

So NOW they are saying the FBI and law enforcement are wrong because they don't have Caylee physically.

Padilla is a royal idiot, too, but at least he has the common sense to admit that bailing Casey out was a "mistake."

Bozo the spokesperson just released this:

After the test results were announced Wednesday, Local 6 received a statement from Anthony family spokesman, Larry Garrison.

It states; "Reports surrounding the DNA of Caylee Anthony are being disputed by the family and their attorney."

Garrison said he was just told that Caylee has not been found.

The statement also said the sheriff's department never told them that the University of Tennessee was conducting tests and that has not been confirmed.

The statement also said no plea deal is being discussed.

WFTV says that the FBI has tied the hair to Caylee via DNA. So there is physical evidence now..

L.Padilla is contemplating (what's to contemplate) returning her to jail...

personally, she is a flight risk and I think her family would help her run.

They may not have any choice if Tony Padilla revokes the bond - if the conditions of the bond state that if evidence is found and could result in charges, it could potentially be revoked. One way or the other though, I think she's going back to jail.

Eyes - I think that as part of the state's disclosure to Jose Baez, they only had to show him the evidence associated with the neglect charge. The evidence they disclosed today apparently was the Body Farm air results, with possibly the promise that they had more in pursuing a manslaughter or murder charge and that's why the limited immunity was offered.

Meanwhile, the Anthony family attorney, Jose Baez, said he was not aware of the latest developments until the media brought it to his attention.

He said his focus remains on finding Caylee.

"That is the reason why I'm standing here to let people know that we still have a missing child," Baez said. "The police have specifically told me today that they have not found her and that is why I want people to keep looking for her. It is very frustrating when you hear news like this but it is all speculation."
