A quick post with developments we are following: Updated throughout the afternoon and evening.
- Looks like the bond may revoked and Casey will be back in jail between now and Monday. Apparently the process to do so has been started. As of 4:30pm Leonard says the plan is to allow Casey to see Jose Baez on Friday, then return her to jail on Saturday.
- Sheriff's office released this statement about bond: "The bail bond agency which holds the bond has the authority to take the defendant into their custody and return them to jail without doing any paperwork in advance...The bail bond agent would bring the defendant to the jail..."
- Sheriff's department had an internal meeting we believe started at 11 or 12 today. There may be a press conference this afternoon.
- Cindy Anthony left her house around 2:45pm we believe with Tim Miller or someone from TES. They went to the Sheriff's dept. for a 3pm meeting. Cindy and Tim left the OCSD at 4:25pm.
- Casey has been at Jose Baez office since about 11am. She is home as of 3:35pm
- Jose Baez is on his way to the Anthony home, as of 3:45pm
More updates via Nancy Grace
- Cindy Anthony has posted no trespassing signs around the yard. She also met with Leonard Padilla in the RV tonight.
- Tony and Leonard Padilla on Nancy Grace are taking Casey back to jail on Saturday. Cindy denies they are revoking bond.
- Leonard also says thousands of people could be coming for demonstration on Monday.
- New spin from Cindy seems to be heading in the direction that the car could have had a dead body in after it was towed. She apparently has talked to the owner of tow yard where the car was.
- Cindy says she does not speak to Casey about the case. Also reiterates that Casey isn't going back to jail Saturday.
- Tim Miller from TES left the Anthony's this evening around 8:30pm. According to the producer on Nancy Grace.

IMO Toothpick is doing nobody a favor by announcing he's asking his nephew to revoke the bond. Oh wait he got more publicity. Seriously the hype around this could led to someone getting hurt. A more sensable approach would be to do it quietly. Then he could soak up the publicity.
He's set himself up as her protector and potentially could be held liable if something happens during the returning her to jail process. Stiffle it.
It may be prudent for LE to quietly rearrest her at 2 in the morning when everyone is asleep. There are plenty of theft charges they can arrest her for.

I'd love to be privy to the Baez / Anthony conversations right now, man...

Just watched CNN and the are reporting the hair is Caylees and that it shows signs of decomposition.
Posted by: Buzz | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 06:10 PM
is there any way to confirm this?
http://www.local6.com/news/17325438/detail.html
ORLANDO, Fla. -- New FBI DNA results in the case of a missing Orlando girl indicate the girl is most likely dead.
Hair samples found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car are definitely that of her daughter, Caylee, and the hair samples do show signs of decomposition, Local 6 confirmed Thursday.
I was watching fox news and got txt at the same time today about this that FBI confirmed it was Caylee's hair and it showed decomposition and that Dr. Baden stated it was enough to convict on murder but then couldn't find a follow up link to "verify"

Buzz: your the man!
I thought it was just a rumor or maybe I misheard the news earlier today.

I agree Xenu that's got to be one fascinating conversation. Oh to be that fly.

Cindy the forensic detective now! That's one nurse I don't want.
Reporter on MyFox Orlando said she spoke to Cindy and Cindy calls the latest test results, "Hocus Pokus" and she believes her daughter and is standing behind her.

Question: has anyone tested the water that Keeper of the Hose is drinking to make sure the alcohol content is legal?
Posted by: wondering eyes | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 06:18 PM
WE you've been coming up with all the great links. You da man.
I wonder if the immunity was extended so Baez can work on the plea deal?
Posted by: Buzz | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 06:24 PM
I was thinking maybe they were thinking more along the terms of extend the immunity and let them have a UFC match in the house to work it out.
Posted by: wondering eyes | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 06:28 PM
If I was keeper of the hose I'd be drinking a bottle of Gray Goose every day.
Seriously though I now work in a hispital-not a nurse-and there is only one patient floor where nearly everybody is estatic to be there. That is the OB department. To go from that overwhelming joy to this is beyond sad. The mood in a hospice isn't as sad as this case.

In my opinion, the "Fantasy View" of the Keeper of the Hose from Day One has been suspect.

I was just noticing the wrtiers pll. It appears that most people still believe its an accidednt.
Ya know, even tho Casey is a sociopath and wouldnt know the truth if it bit her, there has been no evidence that she has/was abusive to baby Caylee. Its true that ya have to wonder what she was doing with her all those times she was at "zanny the nannys" but by most accounts, she wasnt a bad mom when she had Caylee... so what happen? What changed? I think this is the next question LE is trying to find out, what do ya all think?

WonderingEyes:
"Hocus Pocus"???
OMG. Did Cindy really say that?
I guess there's no need to wonder how Casey got so messed up in the first place; Cindy is obviously just as sick as her daughter....
Posted by: Xenu | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 07:57 PM
JD,
The fact that there was no prior evidence of abuse before this makes me more inclined to think that this death was an accident covered up by Casey...probably because Casey didn't have the balls to fess up to her parents that she f*cked up so badly that their granddaughter died. If Casey did kill Caylee, I think it was most likely in a fit of rage...not premeditated.

OMG WHAT NG IS REPORTING AS THE LATEST CINDYISMS IS FUNNY. Cindy you need to take off the blinders.
One question-What would have happened if CA did not make those 911 calls?
Posted by: Buzz | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 08:22 PM
The suspense is killing me...Wish Casey would just play her hand and end this. Caylee needs to be laid to rest.
Posted by: Xenu | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 08:22 PM
Buzz,
I bet Cindy wishes she never made those calls.
Sad, but true.
I think she, like Casey, is more interested in living in some fantasy world than in finding Caylee.
Posted by: Xenu | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 08:23 PM
This is my opinion:
I can't shake the feeling I have felt from the beginning of this nightmare that we are an audience witnessing some sort of secret charade being performed by the grandparents. I don't include Casey, as she long ago pulled up her drawbridge and dis-engaged. She is deliberately detatched and I wonder why.
The grandparents are calculating, rude, hostile, and defensive. Why? Why are they so arrogant?
I feel sorry for Lee, as he seems as befuddled as the rest of us, albeit must be extremely painful for him.
Posted by: Ono | Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 08:27 PM
Xenu if you are right that would make this already tragic case-I can't comprehend how tragic that would be.

Hi all - took a couple hours away from the keyboard today, come back and all hell looks to have broken loose in Anthonyland.
Ono - by grandparents, I assume you mean Cindy Anthony. I've said it before and I'll say it again: imo, the only person who is going to get the truth out of Casey Anthony is her. The problem is, Cindy ain't ready for that confrontation and time's getting short, or so it would appear. Can you possibly imagine the guilt that woman would have?
To all who think Lee Anthony is the "sane" one of the bunch: morally to me, he's worse. These are his parents, his mom and dad, and as the son, shouldn't he be talking to them and setting them straight? He annoys me more than Cindy by far, because while I can deal with and even understand denial, I cannot for the life of me understand why that guy just avoids the issue entirely, tries to stay in the background, and basically goes with the flow. What? Is it too much work compared to trying to validate the stupid lies your sister has told and that YOU know she's telling? What kind of son is that?

Gotta give Jose credit.....like I said in the begining he'll rue the day he ever laid eyes on the Anthony clan.....he's tellin her "Stay the course" Don't tell on yerself unless I give U the Go sign. He's doing exactly what they taught him in law school and passes these days as good lawyering.....always remember the system is "adversarial" (see Wikipedia)....just like a football game.
An immunity deal only will cover Casey's statements concerning the location of Caylee....the state will not be allowed to enter whatever she says into evidence. Could get tricky if she still goes to trial...Baez may use an accidential scenario or may even claim that Caylee died of some kind of natural cause and Casey just disposed of the body......all she has to do is give a location otherwise "don't go for spit" as they say in the trade. (IE The right to remain silent)

Buzz: This is what happens when I leave the computer and come back..what cindyism did I miss or do I want to know?
Better question...barf bag or not?

Here is a thought. A very dark thought. A very dark dark dark thought.
Notice how Cindy mentions all this lovely mumbo jumbo about hocus pocus dna and that no body doesn't mean anything.
Okay...thought. Maybe she is in denial. Deep denial.
However...from day one. She changes her story, she leaves a lot of questioning of why she says what she says and honestly...how many grandparents wait 31 days?
Here's a dark dark dark thought.
One wonders if when Cindy is "demanding to see a body" its not because she really wants to see a body, but could it be possible that maybe, just maybe, *gulp* okay here it goes, that Lavaball really doesn't know where the body is but maybe, just maybe, Keeper of the Hose does.
Wasn't there a reference at one time of Cindy and Lavaball being home while George was gone for a time period.
Frame of thought was this...what if her "needing a body" and refuting to accept DNA is more of a taunt to investigators because maybe, she knows where Caylee is and is thinking that no one will know.
Reason is this...It was during discussion that it was brought up....it's really very very very odd that a nurse of all people, particularly a nurse who is married to a cop, would dispute or try to discredit dna evidence.
Top it off...nurses are familiar with all the ugliness that a human body can do and create and be, so how can a professional nurse NOT know it was a smell of decomposition but a freaking tow truck driver with no medical background could.
Something else that is brought up...Cindy was probrably not a candy striper (shudder, scouring eyes with sand at that thought)...so she would have worked long enough in the medical field on top of having a husband who unless he was Barney Fife, would on an occasion or two had to deal with a homicide or suicide, etc.
It's hard not to wonder if the investigators in the background are considering this and going...okay..she's a nurse and she is saying what again?
