Caylee Anthony - New Developments Sept 3rd, 2008

There is a lot here so bear with us tonight. The links below the bullet points should cover it all in more detail. We figure our TV will explode during Nancy Grace. BOMBSHELLS and all. This post will be updated as needed.

• Cindy Anthony met with a new attorney today. Mark Najame is a high profile attorney. Not sure if he is for Cindy and George or Casey, and if will take the case pro bono. 
• Chloroform in suspiciously high levels were found in Casey's trunk and searches about chloroform were found on Casey's laptop
• TES searches continue, and unknown evidence has been found. It is not known if it connected to the case. Evidence was turned in from Jay Blanchard park and possibly other locations. Could have been raccoon bones as indicated in the article?
• Leonard Padilla has said that bond could be reinstated for Casey if she tells investigators where Caylee's body is.
• Also hearing some rumblings about Gale St. John's (psychic) Cadaver dogs getting a hit near the airport and the area is now being looked and sealed off by OCSO.
• New charges filed for more economic crimes, more checks of Amy's it looks like. Link to affidavits. 
• Sheriff Beary responded to Cindy Anthony's demand for an apology from OCSO, with "Won't happen. Won't happen. We're doing our job."

Hi all -

Sorry I was too busy with work today, and will be tonight too. I'll be about but I did want to say 3 things:

1) Props to my partner ketelone for putting up the donate to TES post. It's terrific and naturally, so is he. My 100 bucks just went in via paypal - give what you can, as Buzz says, even if it's a dollar because it's more than the Anthonys will ever do.

2) It was asked (I think by eyes) if LE teaming with TES is deliberate as a result of last night - the answer is a resounding yes. LE likes to find children ALIVE, not dead. They'd only be searching for her in these places if they were convinced she were not alive.

3) Chloroform - understand that it's been "leaked" and not definite from the OCSO or the State Attorney's office that Casey was searching for chloroform on her computer. I will say that I do believe the FBI found chloroform in high concentrations in the truck, but understand chloroform can be a by product of bleach (or chlorine) mixing with enthanol (gas for example) or rubbing alchohol. One could say that perhaps the trunk was cleaned with bleach and gas(if GA's statements about gas can being in the back, you know how gas gets all over the place, even in cans) or Caylee was wet from the pool when potentially placed back there and the gas mixed with it. We'll just have to wait and see....

Casey told her friends she had a nanny...maybe chloroform was her nanny when she went out partying in clubs.

In the interest of fairness this potential discovery's importance will depend on how much chloraform was found, how pure it is, and the when of the web searches.

That is a warped thought, Julie....but I was thinking the same thing myself. Chloroform is a very obscure thing to use to poison somebody. Maybe she was "sedating" Caylee and "accidentally" gave her too large of a dose. Purely speculation, of course.

The psychics (Gale, Travis, and Brian) mention the following:

"From the trunk she was taken to an outdoors place with lots of tall grasses, and coarse fern like plants. the ground is very mucky. There is also a cinder block building near by which I believe may be white in color. This area has a “park” feel to it, yet this cinderblock building is secluded or set back from were many people would be. This building may be a maintenance building or storage building of some kind."

Brian, one of the psychics, also says something about Casey's prescription drugs in his description of what he believes took place:

"Hi, I'm pretty sure according to what I've done so far is Caylee was playing outside when her mom said something that frightened her, I think it had to do with an item Caylee had in a bedroom ...so she hid in the car where she died of exposure. I do not think Casey discovered Caylee right away, but I do think she and her mother planned a cover-up for the accident. Details of the specifics of the accident and cover-up have been posted since 7/21/08...and I'm pretty sure much of what I have is correct, however I'm not sure about three sets of numbers. I've posted everything I know of as to her location, and I know Gale and the team was very close, if not right on. I have many other cases I'm working on, but hopefully I will be go down there with Gale this weekend.

Casey also obtained prescription drugs right after the accident, I think she confessed as to what happened to the person who gave her these drugs...she may not have a prescription. This is the reason I keep stressing police to check this out...and I think they have."

That's preposterous. I find NO mention of rx drugs in the 400+ pages of documents released. To date these "psychics" have not found 1 missing person. Brian has been proven to be a fraud in that he will change his website to fit the facts. Check out ukskeptic.co.uk for more information. Furthermore, Gale does not have trained cadaver dogs. Case in point, yesterday her dogs allegedly picked up a scent police had to investigate. It was coming from a dead ANIMAL. Trained cadaver dogs IGNORE animal scents. Brian's website really should come with the dislcaimer "for entertainment purposes only".

Buzz, yes, I did find it interesting that Lee has been talking to the bounty hunter. That little tidbit slipped my mind during the rest of the show, but I think it might be significant, particularly as Lee has been very quiet lately.

I have to admit that I too find the Brian group suspect. Far to vague to prove anything Im afraid. Although I believe some people may have these gifts I have not seen any info on Brians site that was of credit. Although, everyone is entitled to their own opinion on these matters.
Has there been any news yet today (thursday) that anyone has seen.

Not much news today except someone has paid for bond on the lesser charges at 2 a.m. but she can't go free due to the higher bail not being paid.

No one knows who paid the bond but MacDonald Bail Bond company is the one who put up the bail (Funny it wasn't a pizza company).

It was mention though that since the bond was paid for the lesser charges that time she is in jail right now can not be credit now to the time she would have spent when convicted of the lesser charges so basically it means..she is looking at having to serve the full sentence for the lesser charges.

Jose was not only unaware that the bond was paid but then said (he always have to have the last word) that what's the point, basically, she can't get out and someone should have paid the 500K.

Side comment: *spitting sprite* uhm right...and release her to the mob...is that what you want Jose.

Other than that no news..though I wasn't aware that lee is talking to padilla now...maybe getting nervous?

JD the only news I've heard is no court appearance because bond on the new charges have been met. She's got bond made on all the minor bonds. It's only that 500,000 bond keeping her behind bars. I guess she's about ready to say where Caylee is at so Padillo will let her out again.

Since that doesn't seem likely I can't see wasting bond money right now. The only reason I can see is to prevent her from being filmed in court.

No offense Augusta, but I have to agree with Buzz and JD.

There is a reason why Brian's link is not even allowed on some other sites because the trouble is that there is no basis or proof or evidence to collaborate what the LE has found and right now...one has to be very careful of mixing speculation with fact...and his site can cause more confusion and help.

It's okay to say,"I speculate or suspect" but in brian's case..he is trying to pass things off as truth when there isn't and for a lot of people who are reading bits and pieces of the case, it's easy to mix the two up and in a lot of ways...feed into the "Casey is innocent" frenzy.

This isn't to say that Casey is guilty (okay guys stop laughing), but it's also isn't to say she isn't...

It goes back to saying...be very very very careful of everything you read...unless it can be authenticated by a "reliable" source, doesn't always mean its truth...

i.e. the body hunters search yesterday...unless it's being backed up by the LE themselves and there are other reputable links to back it up...it's really dangerous sometimes to present hearsay as fact.

Augusta, it's not to say you're input isn't valuable..it's very valuable...but right now if all the sources is only coming from Brian maybe take the time to read the 400 pages of documents as well that is out or cross check unless Brian has inside information or is being investigated by LE, it's hard to really accept what he has to say as truth.

With all respect...I notice that you tend to post mostly information from his site only and was wondering if you had read any other information that is available regarding affidavits, documents and interviews by the police??

It might help to reading them to give a more fleshed out understanding of any other sources of information regarding the case??

Lee's a mole! Padilla doesn't want to talk to Cindy anymore, so somebody's got to do it! Just kidding, or am I? I agree about the psychic stuff. The only thing worth looking at is the pics of evidence on that site. If this gift is from God, as Gale says she is a christian, then why is God being so vague? Why would He have these seers having to figure it out what is being revealed to them? Its not how He works in the bible- no one who had a vision or dream or utterance of things went without immediate interpretation. Sorry for preachin' there. The only new thing, which is old news, is that Padilla said Zanny the Nanny came from a kid's book, Double Trouble Squared. But how Casey got the Zenaida at the Sawgrass Apartments is anyone's guess. When I looked up Every one lies, everyone dies I found some interesting sites. Mostly music and poems. Its not an original saying. Looked up the other parts to her little ditty. None of that was anything original, either.

Question: The visit of the Anthonys with the high profile attorney...think that might have been more for themselves than for Casey and that they are thinking they may get some charges thrown that way?

Makes one wonder if they are going to throw Casey under the bus?

I think the pshchic above is "on" something .....I'm sure the police "checked it all out" too.....who would they check with Casey or Caylee ?, they're the only two who would know about the incident. This is the kind of stuff that inhibits the investigation. People with "special powers".

He ought to get his psychic ass out by the airport and conjur up where Caylee is.

If the bail stops Casey's "good time" (that can be deducted from any sentence),then someone went out of their way to "give her a little kiss". For 300 bucks (on the three thousand) it's a good investment. That should be public information too....it'd be interesting to see who posted it.

Update:
Sheriff's office sets up search command center
10:22 a.m. The Orange County Sheriff's Office is setting up a search command center at 6317 TPC Boulevard in Orlando, an agency spokesman said. EquuSearch volunteers are also moving their mobile office to the same location to increase their search efforts. "We simply did not have enough room, but now we're on the right track," said EquuSearch director Mandy Albritton.

Side Comment: Apparently,There were over 100 early this morning, with more arriving, along with 25 or more search dogs, airboats and mounted searchers.

Keep your prayers and support up for TES!
If anything as wrong a motivator as this is, prove CINDY wrong...Show her that we support TES and send a strong message to her and casey that they may have moved on, but we aren't giving up on bringing Caylee home where she deserves to be.

Buzz: Made me tear up to read what you are doing and making me feel so humble to see your big heart...Hoping that the note said for someone at TES to put the vulcan hold on PC courtesy of missing abducted.

Oh and DW probrably hopes you asked them to tell PC to wear a bra for heaven's sake!

Casey had a choice....Caylee didn't.

Bonding agency quiet about bailing Anthony out
9:51 a.m. An employee at MacDonald Bail Bonds, an agency based in Kissimmee, but serving Osceola, Orange, Polk and Seminole counties, said the supervisor had no comment on why the company paid Anthony's bond this morning and in August when she cannot be released from jail.
