Caylee Anthony - Homicide? Manslaughter? and the Grand Jury
In new developments of the missing case of Caylee Anthony, the State of Florida may be taking the evidence and the case to a grand jury as early as next week.
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony may soon face homicide charges in connection to the disappearance of her missing 3-year-old daughter Caylee, Local 6 News reported.
The State Attorney's Office is planning on presenting its case to a grand jury next week, according to Local 6 News. The grand jury will then decide if prosecutors have enough evidence to charge Anthony, the report said.

Too bad it's not April 1.
Judge could wait that morning to say...you want to travel sure thing.
Then hour later...APRIL FOOL's...going to jail, no bond for you.

WOW! Another great day of posts. You guys are amazing. It makes me embarrased to be here. But not that embarresed. I am ging to be here till the end of this case. Or until the pharmacy no longer allows me to have BP Pills.
BTW Thanks WE for including me on your list of victims.
I hope to God that the Grand Jury has enough brains to allow this to go to trial. It would be great if TES would find her body before then. Oh wait, she never existed.
I would love to know about that so called picture of SB&J, I wonder if it is as good as the one at Target?
Maybe lavaball could do everyone a favor and use the chlorform on herself and stop wasting taxpayer dollars. I am glad I don't live in Orlando.

WE: Your list was great. However, you missed Juliette Lewis, Rocky & Bullwinkle, ketel & writer's fingers, inncoent family's named Anthony.
I wonder if UNIVERSAL will have a new ride called the ANTHONY RIDE? This case has been a wild ride and it isn't even over.
I bet the inmates are planning a great welcome home party.

Wow! As early as next week. I guess that puts a monkey wrench in Casey's travel plans.....as the two squirrels would say, NUTS!
TES is coming back and this good news. It's a wonderful day. Justice for Caylee is on the horizion.
Watched the little shopper today. Looked to me like she enjoyed spending her firned's money. She looked so stone faced at the teller.
The girl really is not well.

to the chat room!

I think it is great MIMI. I just hope the Grand Jury sees the light.

It would be difficult for them not to see through her, John. How do you refute the forensic evidence, her behavior and actions? You can't. The videos on the theft charges alone prove that she is a really dishonest person and a thief. The forensics prove something horrible happened to Caylee.
Do you have AR in Florida? I hope not!

CNN is reporting that the Attorney General's office is saying we don't know where this came from. That the paperwork isn't unsealed until the day before Grand Jury day.
So I look at the history of the rumor mill in this case. Aside from some Toothpick proclamations and statements from Slimeball, Bimbo & Jerkoff-the rumors have been fairly accurate.
Which means this is another kick to the gut moment. Yeah we've pretty much knew Caylee was gone since the cute little dogs hit on the car. Still the confirming facts-DNA, chloraform, air test results-twist that knife more each time.
In the last thread I said I believed the court would allow some trips. Even if this is just rumor, I don't believe this will happen now.
(See unlike the Anthony's I can change my mind based on evidence.)
Witnesses can be called for the Grand Jury. Wonder if PC and Whipped are going to be witnesses? Boy that will be a fun dinner time conversation.

I think you are right MIMI, it i just in my many years on this planet I have seen a lot of injustice. I want 100% justice for Caylee she deserves it.

I am not a legal wizz as all of you know, but if I understand the Grand Jury almost anyone can be called, but SB&J cannot be inside the jury room,am I correct?
However, the legal eagles that SB&J are I am sure slimeball will insist he has the right to cross examine. Honest, I am being sarcastic there. I think,

Buzz: you'll love this...PC is the witness for prosecution which means during trial, she can't and won't be in the trial room until she's called to the witness stand so considering she's a witness for prosecution...expect a LOT of tension in the house trial time.

Boy they can all work on their lies for a week now.

I hope all of you can keep me up to date on NG. This is my night off from her, and I am afraid I will miss her hair move.
Posted by: JOHN | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 07:36 PM
john: they are going to have a LOT of lies to work on.....tick tock tick tock...funny no one has shown up with an alligator that has a clock in its mouth.
Posted by: wondering eyes | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 07:38 PM
I bet you will be able to hear PC all through the courthouse while she is on the stand. Unless that picture was real, SB& J are probably drawing straws to see who doesn't have to go.

John: Think Bozo will be taking shots to steel himself for trial day?
See it now:
(Court day, bright sunny day, nice crowd of protestors, alligator waiting by courtdoor with clock in mouth)
PC walks through door and goes through metal detector setting it off.
Security takes straws on whose going to frisk her. Security plants shortest straw on Bozo and makes him frisk her. Claw Hammer, two yorkies, and garden hose falls out.
PC enters courtroom. Sits on witness stand. Starts wiping mouth with hand and drinking water.
Camera shot on Judge. He furrows brows as he contemplates how fast jury can wrap it up before he loses cool.
PC talks.
PC: You are all liars. Get off your butts and start looking for Caylee. The butler did it. He's married to the nanny.
Judge: Uhm. Prosecution hasn't said anything yet. As a matter of fact..they are still shuffling their papers.
PC: I can read minds. I know what you are all thinking.
Judge: I have a sledgehammer under my bench if you don't chill out.
PC: I have a clawhammer.
Judge: I don't want to know how it got here. Someone just ask a question.
Judge drops alka-seltzer in his water. Baez pretends to drop pencil under desk. We see him take a swig of something before he gets back up.
Prosecution puts on armor and walks up to PC.
Prosecutor: Is your name PC?
Cindy: LIAR!
Prosecutor: What about these photos?
Cindy: Photoshop
Prosecutor holds up photo of Lavaball in park with Bigfoot and Caylee.
Cindy: Oh, uh, I mean...that's the real ZG.
Baez hits his head on table and Lavaball head starts spinning as she levitates from table.
Jury raises hand.
Judge (in a strain voice): yes?
Jury: We the jury really don't have time for this. She's guilty of everything including taking up space, as a matter of fact, my brother, Joe Bob, lent me his rope and there's a nice big tree out back if we can just use that and get it over with.
Judge: agreed. Let's go.

I woder if someone can help me with the idea of a Grand Jury. I thought the proceedings were sealed and not released to the public. This case sounds like the will be cameras and everything including SB&J being able to cross examine. Is this correct?
Posted by: JOHN | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 08:45 PM
What is AR?
Bozo will not get to talk to the Grand Jury. Look for more efforts at jury nullification.
Can you picture PC waiting meekly in the hallway? Everytime the court takes a break she'll be rushing to offer everybody brownies and kool-aid.
One big problem if this goes to trial is freedom of the press. PC will be pouring over the video tapes/media reports to discover the lies everybody is telling. Once she gets on the stand she'll try to refuse to answer questions by explaining how all the other witnesses are lying.
I had to testify once in a criminal case. When the court would take a break, the jury walked right by where we witnesses were waiting.

Grand Jury proceedings are not open to the public. We will know what they decide if lava gets a free ride back to jail.
Posted by: Buzz | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 08:52 PM
Buzz: If they don't indict this time, the state can back other times, correct?
Posted by: JOHN | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 08:56 PM
WE: You had me laughing out loud, literally. I haven't done that in a long time! My family thinks I am nuts!
Posted by: k6 | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 09:07 PM
K6: if you think she is fuunny wiait until SB&J try to defend lavaball
Posted by: JOHN | Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at 09:10 PM
You are correct John. Some of the experts tonight said that they may be bringing this to the Grand Jury as an investigation tool or to shake the lava tree. If nothing else LE must have some very compelling evidence if they are even thinking about an indictment.

I have a feeling Caylee will be found before Tuesday
