Update 10/18 5:54pm EDT. The Amber alert has been lifted because law enforcement say it has run it course and that they do not believe Cole to be out in the open. They are searching in the northeast Las Vegas Valley. They would also like to talk to a Mexican national by the name of Jesus Gastelum. (Pictured). Updated 10/17 6:39PM EDT. Steve Huff over at TrueCrimeReport.com has had the Grandfather's name for most of the day today. It seems from comments on the posts on Steve's site that Clemens F. Tinnemeyer was laundering money for the Mexican Mafia to the tune of $8 to $20 million dollars, and took it. He took off in September. Police are now seeking him for information in Cole's case.

ORIGINAL AMBER ALERT INFORMATION:
Wednesday, 10/15 - LVMPD earlier this morning reported that a 6-year-old boy was kidnapped this morning from a home near Hollywood and Lake Mead during a robbery around 7:15 a.m.

Police say two men, described as Hispanic, took Cole Puffinburger. The boy was wearing a black John Cena sweatshirt, dark jeans and black Vans tennis shoes. He has blond hair and blue eyes and was wearing silver-rimmed glasses. He is 3'11" tall and weighs around 48 pounds.

According to police, the two suspects knocked on the door and indicated they were police however once inside they tied up the boy's mother and her male friend and began looking for money in the home. Police say they took the boy when no money was found.

The reason why there was a delay in the AMBER Alert activation was that LVMPD did not have a reliable vehicle or suspect description, however, they have now given us a description of one of the three Hispanic males who are now suspects.

All three suspects speak with an Hispanic accent. One of the suspects have black shoulder length hair slicked back, in his early 30's, 5'7" and 150 pounds.  Last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

There is still no description of the vehicle involved in this case.

I fear that the gang rank of the kidnappers may determine if this boy is still alive. If they were low-rank soldiers who did this on their own initiative, he may be dead already.

If Grandfather doesn't pony up the money immediately, I hate to think what they will do to Cole.

GF reported missing 09/11/08 and family hasn't talked to him since mid-August. He either went deep underground or somebody else he double crossed did him in. I can't imagine he doesn't know what's happened if he's alive.

I'm guessing we are going to find out he's got a record a mile long. GF needs to man up yesterday so Cole can come home.

I have to say at first when I heard of this little boys disappearance I was skeptical, and yes I had thought the story was made up by the mother.

I couldn't understand why a drug dealer would take a child until I read the excerpt in the link above. I was unaware that this does happen.

I am praying that this little boy is found safe, and his innocence isn't tainted.

I hope EVERY single Mexican involved in this is killed. For every White kid they kidnap we should kill 10,000 Mexican drug dealers. The GF is white/caucasian, or appears to be according to his picture. This is about greed, drugs and money. In response to Sabrina.... It really doesn't sit well that you come only to the defense of white children. I would think all children is how you should have worded it. They all fear...feel pain...cry...the same. And why is your concerns only focusing around Hispanics? What the only drug dealers in the States are of Mexican background, this I find hard to believe and also is not a fair statement. NO, killing drug dealers would not send out any message. You are dealing with people whose egos are distorted and not grounded, fear is not be part of their world. I think it is great that you are speaking up and are passionate but make sure your opinion is educated. Take the time to read up more, be part of a drug awareness group, child advocate group and then pick your politician and pound them down until they make the changes necessary to protect our children. If you are this passionate about making a difference get to it. And on a very good note. Thank you Lord for showing us your wonderful Grace and brining this boy home.
