Amanda Jones 3 years later, no sign of missing woman

Looking back into a case we started posting on 3 years ago today. Amanda Jones is still missing and no charges have been filed.

Amanda Jones was 26, a mother and nine months pregnant. She disappeared three years ago Thursday. Her car was found unlocked with her purse inside at the Hillsboro civic center.

Police say Jones planned to meet that day with the man believed to be the baby's father, Bryan Westfall. He told authorities he had nothing to do with the disappearance and that Jones was alive when he left her at the civic center.

Amanda Jones, Police say lots of tips no leads

In the searching for Amanda Jones police say they have lots of tips but no leads? This leads us to believe the police already have some kind of theory or scenario, just no evidence. We are also sure all local hospitals are on the look out since her due date is upon us. Since her purse and cell phone are missing as well and no credit or banks cards have been used and no calls made the chances of her walking into a hospital to give birth is slim. If you are in the Hillsboro area see what you can to do help bring this case to a close.

Police don't have any shortage of tips in the mysterious disappearance of a pregnant Pevely woman, but they still don't know what happened to her.

Jefferson County Sheriff Oliver "Glenn" Boyer said investigators had received more than 100 tips about Amanda Jones, who is nine months pregnant and hasn't been seen since Sunday. One tip came from Wisconsin, where a man claimed to have seen Jones sitting in the car behind him at a traffic light.

"Some of the tips have not been helpful," Boyer said.
