Heather Teague has been missing for 13 years. On MissingAbducted.com we believe this is first case we have put up that happened before this site was created. This is the first post in a series about Heather's case. In part one we want to tell you who Heather is, and about the day she went missing. Much of the information comes from WhereIsHeatherTeague.com and is used with permission from Heather's mom, Sarah. Heather and getting her story out was a driving force behind MissingAbducted TV, we truly believe that video over the net and possibly an entire channel, one day on cable will be the next incarnation of the milk carton in missing person cases.
Heather Danyelle Teague was visiting a Kentucky beach to lie out in the sun on August 26, 1995 at Newburgh Beach in Spottsville, Ky. when "someone" appeared from the woods, jerked Heather up and drug her into the woods.when something went awry. Someone had decided to take Heather against her will from her lounge chair. The only eyewitness to Heather's abduction would be a man by the name of Tim Walhal who just happened to be looking through a high powered telescope across the Ohio River in Indiana. Tim told investigators he saw a bearded man snatch Heather up and drag her into the woods, to never been seen again. He later came forward to say that he thought it was a joke that her boyfriend was playing and did not think it was serious. The only known suspect, Marvin Dill was to be questioned a few days after Heather's disappearance, and before police could question him, he shot himself in the head. Walthall would tell police that he witnessed the abduction and he would help the police draw a composite sketch that would later match a man named Marty Dill. On the same day of Heather's abduction, residents on the road where Marty Dill lived heard screams coming from his trailer. Before police could question Dill, he shot himself in the head. It appeared that this was a closed and shut case but it was far from that.
