Julie Popovich remains found and identified

Police have identified the remains found in the area of Red Bank Road as those of Julie Popovich, who has been missing for over 3 weeks. She obviously met with foul play and was murdered although we have no cause of death yet. There are also no suspects according to police at this time.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police detectives told NBC 4 Friday that the human remains found near Hoover Dam belong to a 20-year-old missing Reynoldsburg woman.

Investigators say the remains belong to 20-year-old Julie Popovich, who disappeared after leaving a campus-area bar three weeks ago.
