You鈥檒l complete core business classes and business management major-specific courses throughout the degree. Your core courses will provide a foundation in business principles, such as marketing, economics, finance, and international business. Your major-specific courses will instruct you in areas such as leadership and motivation, human resources, human behavior in organizations, and product management.
With a management specialization concentration, you鈥檒l choose the classes that best fit your gifts and interests, whether that鈥檚 small business entrepreneurship, supply chain management, or sales management.
The program will culminate in your senior entrepreneurship and service practicum, in which you鈥檒l start and run a temporary business. Get ready to write a business plan, obtain a loan, commercialize your product, and donate your time and profits to a local nonprofit organization!
There鈥檚 no education like hands-on learning, so you鈥檒l also complete an internship or practicum to complete the degree. Warsaw, Indiana, is known as The Orthopedic Capital of the World庐, and many of our students seeking internships take advantage of our connections with local orthopaedic businesses. You may also decide to intern at an organization in your hometown.
