As a mathematics major, you鈥檒l dive into the foundations of math and science with courses in calculus, physics, proofs, and differential equations. You鈥檒l also choose classes based on your interests, whether that鈥檚 geometry, probability, or algebra.
You can expect both to learn theoretical mathematics and to apply them in areas such as Google鈥檚 PageRank algorithm, RSA cryptography, and classical physics.
As comprehensive as our mathematics program is, we know that learning only goes so far in the classroom. That鈥檚 why you鈥檒l also complete an internship dealing with data, code, or formulas as part of the mathematics program. You may choose a location close to Grace, or you may work in your hometown.
