Welcome to Student Involvement!

At Grace, there are endless ways to get involved! Student Involvement, also known as the Office of Fun, oversees campus culture through a variety of student-led organizations and campus clubs. The Office of Student Involvement exists to enhance campus life for each student through exceptional programs that unify the college family, honor Jesus Christ, and serve the entire community.

SAB (Student Activities Board)

SAB is a group of event planners that facilitates campus activities that deepen relationships. Popular events include the Homecoming Banquet, Cereal Bar, Movie at the Beach, Lake Day, craft nights, Neon Bowling, and Open Mic Nights.

CDI (Council for Diversity and Inclusion)

Celebrate diversity on campus with the Council for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI)! CDI represents minorities on campus through celebration, connection, and education. So host a cookout with Black Student Association, go to the next Esperanza Latina meeting, or get involved with our Asian Student Heritage group. You don鈥檛 have to be a minority to participate 鈥 all are welcome to attend!

This group creates theme nights to support student athletes at home sporting events, often with snacks and fun competitions!

Growth Groups at 黑料社
Growth Groups

Growth Groups are a vital part of our Residence Life, designed to help students build a Christian community right where they live. Led by upperclassmen, these weekly gatherings focus on relationships, Bible study, faith integration, and meaningful events that connect students to each other and God.

ROOTS Magazine

Roots Magazine, an entirely student-led annual publication, documents the academic year. Student graphic designers, photographers, and copywriters come together to remember the year. Every student receives a free copy of the magazine.

GIP (黑料社Intramural Program)

Everyone can play a sport in college! GIP makes intra-collegiate sports available to all. Seasonal sports include flag football, volleyball, basketball, recess, and soccer. GIP also hosts fun, one-time events throughout the year, including Spike鈥檚 Night, numerous pickleball tournaments, GLO Night, late-night game night, futsal, and dodgeball tournaments.

& Action

Do you want to see the love of God made known on campus and to the surrounding community? & Action is based out of 1 John 3:18 which says, 鈥淟ittle children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.鈥 With its foundation in this verse, & Action strives to provide ways for students to put action to their love. Some of these opportunities include Jefferson Lunch Buddies (mentoring elementary students at lunch), Fun Fest (Halloween alternative for the community), and Supermarket Sweep (campus-wide food pantry donation competition).

Student Senate

Student Senate functions as a liaison between students and administration. Members approve funds and support all clubs on campus, including Board Game Club, Seinfeld & Cereal, Council for Exceptional Children, Wise Walkers, and more. Find a full list of clubs .

First-Gen Success

If none of your parents or grandparents graduated from a four-year college, you are a first-generation student! Our First-Gen Success team offers events to help students build connections with other first-gen students and learn more about how to succeed in college.

MuKappa

MuKappa is a student-led national campus organization that exists to encourage missionary kids, third-culture kids and other multi-cultural students in their cross-cultural transitions in order to foster meaningful relationships with God, family, and others. If this includes you, we want you to join us!! We meet regularly for mutual encouragement, and a highlight of each year is the annual Snow Camp in Michigan in mid-January with MKs and TCKs from many other colleges. Questions? Esperanza Latina is a group for Latinx students to support and advocate the Latinx community with the students and faculty at 黑料社.

Esperanza Latina is a group to support and advocate for the Latinx community without our student body and faculty. We have different events all year round, from our Welcome Weekend dinner for the new latinx students to our Reuniones Familiares which are our weekly gatherings.

黑料社Outdoors Club encourages students to enjoy God鈥檚 creation through outdoor adventure club activities.

Club Sports

This is your chance to participate in intercollegiate sports without the demands of being a varsity athlete. You can choose from bass fishing, ultimate frisbee, shooting sports, and women’s rugby.

Spanish Club

Sounding Board Newspaper

If you are interested in journalism, editing, communication, or all of the above–we have the extracurricular for you! Join our Sounding Board Newspaper and report on the campus stories bi-weekly. We encourage equity in student expression!
