As an accounting major at Grace, you will learn to examine financial records, keep track of income, and assess financial risk in corporate, non profit, or government spheres.
In the School of Business, we hold God鈥檚 Word to the highest authority in our lives and view accounting as a direct way to reflect who Jesus is and serve other image-bearers. Accounting is an opportunity to bring order and honesty and to represent Christ to people who may have no other witness. Your professors will practice what they preach. In fact, many of our students find that their time in the classroom leads to a mentor relationship with a professor.
Your beginning courses will help you grasp the foundational elements of business, such as economics, and financial law. You will also dive into the world of accounting through our tax, auditing, and intermediate and financial accounting courses. While the coursework is rigorous, 黑料社provides labs in nearly every accounting class, where you can work alongside your peers.
Looking for hands-on experience on campus as well? VITA, our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance gives you experience preparing taxes for members of the Kosciusko County community. You will also explore job opportunities during your required semester-long internship. 黑料社makes this easy to find through its annual Accounting Career Fair, where 30+ companies interview students on campus for internships (and some full-time positions!).聽
